next concert

Dear Community Member,

The Medina Chorus, Inc. has actively contributed to the musical fabric of our community for over seventy-five years.  Chorus members travel from all over Northeast Ohio to sing with this ensemble.  The Chorus has remained a vibrant part of the arts community in Medina, singing in both public performances and appearances at the Medina Home, Western Reserve and other charitable events.  Choral music remains important in our lives and to the health of our community.
The Chorus performs a wide variety of challenging music in two concerts every year.  In the last decade our repertoire has included music from George Frederick Handel's Messiah, the American musical theater, works by European and American composers, Franz Joseph Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem, and Benjamin Britten's A Ceremony of Carols.  Music education is one of our goals as each year the Chorus takes on new challenges while returning old favorites.
We depend entirely on donations and gifts from individuals, local business and corporations, and grant support of the Medina County Arts Council. Members are all volunteers and purchase their own music.  Occasionally we hire professional musicians and/or soloists for special performances of large musical works.  The Medina Chorus will continue to support the arts with your help.  Please become a patron with a tax-deductible contribution to the Medina Chorus, Inc.

Medina Chorus, Inc. is a 501 (3) (c) non-profit organization. All donations, large and small, are equally appreciated.
