The Medina Chorus is a wonderful example of a community chorus. Our singers of all ages and backgrounds meet weekly to prepare for our twice-yearly concerts. While the majority hail from Medina and Medina County, Cuyahoga and Summit counties are also well-represented and those singers find the travel to Medina worthwhile!
Our members are active in all walks of life – from students to retirees and all manner of vocations in between. Whatever their activities and commitments, all find time to take part in the musical fellowship of this chorus.
While this is an un-auditioned ensemble, the majority of our singers have experience in vocal music which greatly supports those newer to choral singing. Singers come to weekly rehearsals to broaden musical horizons, meet new friends, learn from one another, and to SING.
Under the direction of Mike McClintock, the Chorus is growing and developing new opportunities and challenges for the future.
